Origins Liquid Crystal Cleansing Oil ~ Approx. RM78
OK.... I usually don't have much problems with cleansing oils... However, I find this particular one to be rather odd. Firstly, it is not used like how I would use other cleansing oils which is massage, lather and rinse. Directions says that to pour some on your plam then add some water then wash but personally, I find that doing that takes away from the whole purpose of a cleansing oil. When I do use it the normal way, I feel that it's comfortable to massage with especially with the hint of minty scent, but it doesn't emulsify well when I add water so that makes the skin feel unclean. Despite the mint, I don't really get that cooling feeling. Not something that I'd purchase (this was given to me) since there are better options that cost less out there. However, I wouldn't throw it out either since it's not horribly bad. Just not good enough which is quite a let down for Origins products. My rating: 2/5
Ginvera Nutri White Marvel Gel ~ Approx. RM20 I think
The rave about Ginvera's 16-years-in-a-row-greatness has been on going so I decided to try this 3rd generation Marvel Gel that supposedly claims "Just 30 Gentle Rubs, Dead Skin Dark Spots Disappear, Skin Becomes Finer & Fairer!!". Well, I kinda did 50 semi-hard rubs and dead skin, dark spots did not disappear and forget about skin becoming finer and fairer. It felt like nothing, basically, not to mention it smelled rather fishy. I'm not the kind to throw away beauty products no matter how useless they are so now I have no idea what to do with it. All in all, a pointless product. You'd be better off with a gentle scrub or even better, Skineeds Blackhead Remover Supergel which is only 6 bucks. My rating: 1/5

M.A.C Brush Cleanser ~ RM39
This product may not be required by everyone who use brushes since most brushes can accept being cleaned with baby shampoo and some use dish wash for waterproof or oil-based make-up. Recently I stumbled upong this brush cleanser and I can safely say that I'll no longer be using dish wash on my brushes. This cleanser makes stubborn foundantion residue melt into milk and it's also gentle enough to be used on natural hair bristles as well. Additionally, it disinfects and conditions the brushes so that the bristles will stay soft and have a longer life-span. Surprisingly for M.A.C, this product is not very expensive and quite economical to use. What I do is I fill a spray bottle with water and then add in the brush cleanser with 1 part cleanser and 30 parts water. Having it in a spray bottle, you can conveniently clean brushes as soon as you're done using them and they'll be clean and ready-to-use by the next time you need to use it so there's no need for spare brushes in case it doesn't dry.My rating: 4/5
