What's My Secret?

I broke my promise to Carmen and bought an 80-Color Eyeshadow Palette and I've been keeping it a secret for awhile now. I wanted to wait until after the Estee Sales to reveal this. Beautiful? Believe it or not, I found this baby at a little booth in Metro Kajang Shopping Complex while I was casually walking around with my mom and grandma. It was selling for only RM60! I got the last one though so you can try your luck there again if you want to. They have other palettes as well. I was first attracted by the colors of course and when I saw the brand, I knew I had to have it. The brand -- Manly (minus the facial hair and body odor) -- has been quite well-known for their 120 Pro Full Color Eyeshadow Palette that is available at Ebay. Their palettes have also been positively reviewed by one of my YouTube subscription, debstan1, thus I had confidence in this brand although I haven't seen anyone reviewing this particular palette before.
Read on for the review and swatches.

I call this my BRIGHT eyeshadow palette because the colors are mostly very very bright. Incredible sharp colors that are highly pigmented even without a base! There's a mix of matte and shimmer eyeshadows. The shimmer ones are incredibly metallic and gives an effect like how loose pigments would. I'm very happy with all of the colors especially the yellows and the oranges. The size of the pans are slightly bigger than the ones in the 88-Color Palette, perhaps about a 10 cent size. The texture is quite similar to the 88-Color Palette as well even for the part where some of the colors can be quite powdery. There's actually 2 palettes stacked on top of each other in a glossy black case with each palette having 40 colors.

Overall, I am very happy with this find BUT if I would compare it with my 88-Color Palette, I must honestly say that the 88-Color Palette is more user friendly and I use it more often because this Manly one doesn't have a good array of neutral and highlight shades to help balance out the look. Nevertheless, it is an excellent palette to have if you enjoy using really bright colors or you're looking for a set of really bright shades. If you're not too much of the adventurous type, you can go without this.

For each set of swatches, the top picture is without flash and the bottom is with. Color arrangement starts from the first upper half of the palette and so forth.

Because nice lo :D

My excuse is that the metallic colors are not in the 88 palette and those crazy neon greens, oranges and yellows are not in the 88.

oh wow i didn't know the palette was that pigmented!

Insanely pigmented! All the swatches were made without a base. This was the palette that I used for my rainbow, citrus and metallic green look.
