I went with a very simple coordinate system using alphanumeric (woo... big word!). For example, in the 88-color palette, the silver on the far right hand corner of the palette is K1. That one and only bright yellow there that I frequently use is B2. Get it?
As for the Manly 80-color palette, since there are two palettes, the top one is labelled as 1 and the bottom one is labelled as 2. So, the white is 1-J1 and the black is 2-J4.
