Absolutely Loving My New Eyebrows

Carmen and I were walking about Mid Valley and we stumbled upon the Empro Kiosk on the second floor (it was Jusco's side. I don't know which court is that. Always confused!). Earlier that day, I was fiddling with the Empro Triangular Eyebrow Pencil at Watsons and though I liked how easy it was to fill in my brows with it, they still looked kinda iffy.

My initial intention at the kiosk was to ask the beauty consultant to teach me the proper way to use the pencil and I explained how hopeless I was with eyebrows. I was then offered to have my eyebrows trimmed for only RM10. Usually, RM10 would have still made me think but seeing the lady next to me getting her brows fabulously done, I was sold in less than a minute!

RM10 is the promotional price for eyebrow shaping this month (December). The usual price is RM20. They're also having a packaged deal where you sign up for 10 sessions of eyebrow shaping and you get 1 session for free. Which means 11 sessions for RM100 and there won't be any expiry dates for your sessions (I hope I got the info correct!). I didn't have enough cash on me then but after what they've done for my brows, I don't think I want anyone but them touching my brows for the next year. Au revoir mishapenned-brows!

As you can see, my old brows were "rugged". It's not that I didn't trim them or get them shaped. They just always looked like that no matter what I do. And one often look quite different from the other. I know there's a saying that "eyebrows are sisters, no twins" but my eyebrows are cousins. Twice removed! They look weird when they're not filled

So, I fill them! And then they made me look like I kill people for a living. Eh...

The beautician who previously did my brows totally butchered them -- one higher than the other so that I always had the "Whhhuttt??!!" look. The Empro beautician said that if she was to completely correct the shape, my brows would look too thin and I definitely do not want that. So, she did what she could to make them look as even as possible without making them too thin. It should take a few more sessions before they look perfect.

Now, do you see why I like my new brows so much? They're much softer, neater and they don't look so sparse. I'm even confident enough to not have them filled when I go out. Not twins but sisters, who have a love hate relationship still. I'm sure they'll patch up and be best friends in no time!
