Seller Review: sgdrugstore from Lowyat.net

Ohkay. If you're a girl and you lurk around "Stuff For The Ladies" on Lowyat.net, there will be no way that you wouldn't know who sgdrugstore is.

Sgdrugstore aka Ryan (yes, he's a dude! I found out much later. Now he has a tag stating that he's a guy) is based in Singapore and JB (and some say Batam. You know I'm lame) and his job is to please the ladies by running sprees from the United States. Basically, he takes orders from Malaysian ladies here, does all the messy job of dealing with the companies in the US, settles the payments, keeps track of the delivery and distributes the long awaited products to us.

He's one of the pioneers of the US sprees and although he faced some hiccups during the early stages (how would he have known that eyeshadows needed to be double-wrapped?), he has improved a lot and made his little business into somewhat of an empire.

When you receive a package from Ryan, you can be sure that it's gonna be individually wrapped with a few layers of bubble wrap even if it's something unbreakable. Also, he'll put in candies like Tootsie Rolls and Baskin Robbin candy (not available in Malaysia. Woot!) in the parcel as a little token. Awww...

Ryan's rates may not be the lowest around but for the additional buck or two, I'd highly recommend to just stick with Ryan because you can be assured of his service. Please keep in mind that his rates are also inclusive of all those taxes and international shipping charges. He updates his spree statuses frequently so that we'll always know the ongoing of the sprees and he has never failed to reply every single post on his thread even if I was just spamming "Yay!! Can't wait!!". Don't PM him though. It's almost always full. And I can imagine how annoying it would be for him to have to quote a gazillion prices even though they're repetitive but he'd quote every single one accordingly.

The sprees are quite frequent and Ryan takes on sprees when they have Friends and Family sales or seasonal sales as well so that we can have additional discounts. I know some sellers who would not allow the discounts and keep the discounted amount for themselves. Tsk tsk.

Besides cosmetics, Ryan also does sprees for apparel from US outlets such as GAP, Old Navy, Forever 21, Victoria Secret (*winks*) and Target. I personally have no experience from his clothing sprees.

• Drugstore.com/Beauty.com: Loads of US drugstore brands. I got my Milani Luminous blush and MAX Factor 2000 Calorie mascara
• Sephora: Higher end cosmetic brands
• Beauty Crunch: It's like an online warehouse sale where you can get back season high end cosmetics like Stila and Too Faced at lower prices
• Coastalscents: I got my first lot of CS brushes from this spree
• Crown Brushes: Huge selection of brushes and some similar to Coastalscents' but cheaper. I'm waiting for mine to arrive
• MAC: Need I say more?
  
• Urban Decay: I got my Urban Decay Primer Potion at 30% off during the Friend's and Family Sale
• Non Parareil Boutique: They also have NYX products as well as Milani products. Some of the NYX products are cheaper than at Cherry Culture. I got my new batch of lippies from NPB

Just to name a few. He has loads more depending on the demand such as Avon, Dermalogica and Too Faced. I've bought so much from him over the past year that I can't remember all the things that I've bought. I still have packages on the way. Dang!
