Bloggie Chinese New Year "Loh Sang" Party

Looks like the bloggie meets are becoming more and more frequent! Last Sunday (February 1st) -- Rinnah, Paris, Pink Elle, Bee, Kahani, Syen and Joanna -- gathered at the Yook Tho Hin Restaurant in Damansara Utama to welcome abundance and prosperity for the year of the Ox. Besides gabbing about mushrooms (don't ask!), air fresherners and match-making Kahani, that is.

Big big thanks to Paris for organizing this little get together and Bee, for selecting the restaurant. Great food, great company and we need to do this every month! At least!

Read on for foodie pictures, picture of me and description of items used for the day's makeup.

Seriously one of the best 'yee sang' I've ever had. Very fresh and tasty! Even if I had to pick out the fresh ginger.

We get very excited over mushrooms. :D Mushrooms...

Shark's Fin Soup (don't judge me), Aerospace Herbal Chicken, Homemade Tofu and Salted Egg Prawns *Drools*. Even though I itched, it was worth it.

And then Joanna came out with a surprise for Rinnah... Happy Birthday! You're officially in your mid-twenties! :p

I wore a simple brown look for the day

Items Used:

Majolica Majorca Skin Lingerie
Missha Perfect Concealer
Revlon Beyond Natural Skin Matching Makeup in Light Medium
Giorgio Armani Loose Powder
I can't remember the blush...
Urban Decay Primer Potion
Maybelline Impact Express Smooth Shadow Pencil in Brown
88 Color Palette
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Wash Eye Shadow in Beige
MAC Creme Liner in Black
MAX Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
Auto Eyebrow Pencil from Daiso
Avon Lipgloss in Rose Petal

Hi there,

Oh my, the food looks so yummy!! Now i want to go give this restaurant a try! U mentioned it's in DU, right? Is it hard to find and is it expensive?

Sounds like you guys had a great time! The food looks delicious!

Paris: Very fun!! Next gathering soon!

Lis: It's not hard to find at all. It's the same row as HSBC and Village Park. Just circle around the Uptown towers and you'll find it facing you but slightly towards the left. The meal came up to be 30 bucks per pax including drinks. We couldn't finish everything. Lol

Gio: Awh... I miss the food definitely.
