I Found My Everyday Minerals Foundation Match!

Looks like dirt! Maybe that's what I've been putting on my face. After all, they are pure minerals. Everyday Minerals seems to be the only brand of powder mineral foundation that looks good on my skin. The olive golden medium that I previously tried was a little too fair so I ordered two more shades to get my match. Since I love EDM blushers, I ordered another one called Sunday Brunch based on Tine's review. I also got a concealer and the baby kabuki brush.

Read on for swatches and reviews!

Olive Medium (Original Glo): For anyone with a medium to light tan complexion who finds golden too yellow and buff too peachy, Olive Medium foundation is exactly what you need to get the coverage you desire.

Because of the strong olive undertones, it looks slightly muddy on my already sallow skin but acceptable as a contour shade. I can pull this off to look slightly tanned but I doubt I'd use this shade often. It's up for sale, in case you didn't notice!

Olive Medium (Intensive): I can wear this but I'll be a victim of the masked avenger... I would like it if my skin actually looked like that color but my neck's too fair! Since it's heavier and covers my yellow undertone, it looks less muddy. For sale *sighs*

Buttered Tan (Original Glo): Buttered Tan is great for individuals with lighter tan complexions, especially those with warm and peachy undertones. It can also duo as a subtle and natural sun-kissed face contour!

The color matched me a lot better than the Olive Golden Medium since it's slightly darker and warmer.

Buttered Tan (Intensive): Even with the heavier coverage, the match was perfect! I love this formula very much because it really helps to even out my discolorations and make blemishes look less apparent. It looks slightly drier than the O glo but nothing my e.l.f. Healthy Glow Powder can't fix.

$2.50USD for sample size.

I'm using Butter Tan (Intensive) here. Check out that match! No foundation on the neck.

I was quite curious how a powdered mineral concealer would work for me. I got Abott's Perk Me Up: A special blend of Sunlight Concealer and Peach Color corrector for the eyes! Ideal for covering up dark circles and giving your skin an uplifting look! Everyone thank Abbottcm for this wonderful blend!

Even though it managed to lighten my dark circles with the peach undertone and conceal some light blemishes, the formula is far too dry for my skin! This would suit oilier skins better. Again, it's up for sale.

$2.50USD for sample size.

A stunning shade of raspberry with flattering mauve undertones, Sunday Brunch blush is ideal for medium to tan skin tones. Its wonderfully rich and flattering rust tones make it the ideal complement for a night on the town or a day at the beach.

Sunday Brunch was recommended by Tine. It's a beautiful shade but I was kinda expecting it to look more like the Silk Naturals Blush in Enchanting. Sunday Brunch is cooler and more pink-ish. Any suggestions on which EDM color would look more like Enchanting? I don't wanna buy full sized mineral blushers because I'll never be able to finish them but the SN blush samples are far too small! EDM has more ideal sample sizes at $2.50USD each.

The cutest brush you'll ever own, this Baby Kabuki is extravagantly soft and durable. Its convenient size makes it perfect for travel & a great tool to get the hard-to-reach places a bigger brush may miss. Add this must have multi-tasker to your collection.

To go with my sample blush jars, I got the Everyday Minerals Baby Kabuki Brush. It's so small and insanely soft that touching it feels like I'm petting a hamster. I sometimes imagine that I am when I'm bored! The sizes fits perfectly into the lid of the sample jars so I have this in my travelling makeup pouch. Dense, no shedding, no bleeding. Awesome brush! Except the logo printing faded.

I bought this from Loving Minerals at RM20 I think during the discount but they don't have it on their site currently. Selling at EDM for $6USD.

You can purchase Everyday Minerals products from their website, www.everydayminerals.com. The shipping is very reasonable, starting at $4.xx USD. You can also order their free trial set where you only pay for shipping. I'm not gonna list down the steps to do it. Just go to the site and you'll find everything you need to know. There's a big ass sign that says "FREE SAMPLES". Don't ask me how much I paid in RM either because I didn't pay in RM. I paid in US dollars. Please read my updated FAQ.

If you can't use a credit card for online shopping (based in Malaysia or Singapore), you can also purchase Everyday Minerals products from Lovingminerals.Com. They do carry some products but not all.

Great review dear! I'm still going through my second sample kit, the last one I ordered was good, but I just recently tanned a bit and now I have to find a new color again. I was thinking of getting Buttered Tan too since Olive Medium looked muddy on me as well.

As for the blush, the colors that are a bit smilar to Enchanting on EDM are Text Message, Evening Out, All Smiles and Deep Wine.

yay for finding your correct shade, it took me forever to find mine too, and I still don't think I have it completely matched since my skin is a bit paler right now compared to the summer. uff the search continues...

yay I'm glad that you found your match! It took me a few tries to find mine, and then I discovered that mineral makeup is making me break out...so all that effort wasted! Sigh. Haha yea their brushes are incredibly soft!

Jojoba: you have quite the sharp sight! I had to go through several mineral makeup companies until I found EDM. Their products are definitely very affordable :) I need to try their eyeshadows and lippies next.

Lynn: it's cool that loving minerals has such a service. thanks for the info!

Dee: Good luck finding your shade :) And thanks for the blush recommendations.

Lulu: I hope you'll find your match soon :-/ My skin has gotten paler too.

Audrie: awh, sucks that mineral foundation break you out! they're a little drying for my skin so I only wear them if my skin isn't feeling like desert.
