Much thinking was not required when it came to buying this foundation. Having seen Kimoko's fabulous pictures with the Sasa HD Perfect Foundation on, I was ecstatic to get my hands on it. HD foundation's popularity is rapidly climbing up traincases. Who doesn't want to look perfectly flawless off and on camera? I'm not completely convinced that HD makes a difference (except when I'm watching Transformers) but I am curious nonetheless.

It's packaged in a not quite glamorous but practical squeeze bottle that rattles when I shake it. The liquid foundation itself is very fine in texture and looks more promising than the packaging. Please ignore that blob of dark foundation. 04 Golden Beige is the darkest of all four shades and yet still too fair for my skin tone. I wouldn't dare imagine how I'd look like if I followed the Sasa Sales Assistant's advice and got shade 02.
So, it's easy to blend but the fact that the color's totally off means chalky and ashy looking skin. After mixing, the color becomes more acceptable but it still gives an obvious white cast. I'm thinking that the white undertones are too strong... Coverage is light to medium with a formula that should suit combination oily skins. Having a pretty decent staying power and hardly oxidizes, this has "Awesome Foundation" written all over it if it wasn't for the ridiculous lacking of shades.
As much as I'm fond of hot vampires (Mmmm... Edward...) I don't intend on looking like one on a regular basis (Tutorial for this look here). Doesn't matter if I'm glowing!I was so certain that I was gonna fall in love with this foundation but I was terribly mistaken. One should never forget the differences in skin tone and skin type when it comes to buying foundations. This foundation may look wonderful on someone with skin that's less dry and has a skin tone at least 2 shades fairer than mine!
Sasa HD Perfect retails at RM55.90. I'm slightly relieved that I bought it at a discounted price of RM39.90

Hey, I bought mine in 03 and it was quite ok. I'm not sure if you saw it but when i used it, my pores were diminished. seriously, even the stubborn black heads. I thought it was great except that it made me oily after a few hours.

I was really tempted to get this after reading Kimoko's entry about it too! But I'm quite hesitant about it because I have an odd shade -- my neck is yellow but my face is pinker. I tend to avoid foundation on my jawline or the colour will look totally weird. I'll still swing by Sasa though, the glow looks really pretty on both of you.
For some odd reason, I had no problems with the shade. I used 04 as well and I'm almost certain I'm at least a shade darker than you. But this has zero oil-control on me, and I'm not super-oily. I have combo skin with some dry patches, but with this, I looked like an overflowed oil rig! Sheeesh! Me not loving this too!

Aly: Glad that it works on you! perhaps you could try using an mattifying base underneath?
Jasmine: I'd say use a neutralizing base underneath (green should neutralize pink)first then foundation. Good luck!

I love the eyeshadow! I agree re: the lack of shades. I find that 04 suits me pretty well (03 is slightly fairer but still all right) and I'm an NC20-25!
