Review: Stage Wondergloss Lipgloss

Stage Highshine Wondergloss Lipgloss first caught my attention in Kahani's (So Loverly) raving post. As a result, I picked up two of them in Venus and Sophia. I've been previewing these lovely lovely lipglosses in my recent looks and tutorials so, here's the review -- finally! Man, I love these glosses...

Stage Wondergloss Lipgloss has a vanilla scent that highly resembles the scent of MAC Lipglass, except smoother. Smelling it makes me wanna go get a McDonald's Sundae Cone. Whenever I'm putting this gloss in the car, someone in the backseat would be asking if I was eating chocolate (it does smell like white chocolate!). The applicator is a very slim brush that doesn't overload with gloss and provides a precise application. I usually double-dip to have enough gloss for my entire lips. But then again, I like my gloss on thick ;)

Sophia: Sheer nude peach without any shimmer. This color simply makes the lips look JUICY. The patent leather shine is solely from gloss with no help from shimmer. It should go well over peachy lipsticks too. The color also seems to make the lines on my lips less visible

Venus: Pale pink with golden sheen and silver shimmer. It's the kind of everyday shade that would look good on everyone since it doesn't give a distinct color (think sheerer version of NARS Orgasm lipgloss). The shine is simply INSANE! Heck, you can even see my shirt (blue and white) reflected on my lips! Venus gives a very pretty 3D effect

Besides having beautiful colors, the Wonderglosses are incredibly good quality making them comparable to higher end lipglosses such as Dior Addict lipgloss. Unlike MAC Lipglass, it isn't too sticky and it applies very smoothly. The staying power is superior to most lipglosses out there. Although the hyper-shine may fade a little after a few hours, the color will still be there.
