The Clarins We Care aims at improving the lives of less fortunate children while teaching them the importance of protecting the environment. In support of reducing the consumption of disposable plastic water bottles, Clarins has created a very cute (giraffe!) alternative water tumbler. The water tumblers are sold in all Clarins counters until 31st December 2009 at RM12 with proceeds going to the purchase of educational tools for this year's participating charity homes.

Adeline Yeo of Singapore won the first ever Shu Uemura Beauty Art Makeup Competition ASEAN 2099 that was hosted by Malaysia on the 28th of October 2009. With her Nymphette of Sunrise creation, she walked away with a Diamond Botan Brush by Selberan worth RM20,000 and Shu Uemura products worth RM10,000. Oh, and that dude in the top right picture is Shu Uemura's International Artistic Director, Mr Kakuyasu Uchiide from Japan, who was also the main judge for the event. The girls and I couldn't help but to hold our glances a little longer... *coughs* at the model's make up. ;)
