Looks: A Touch of Glitter

A little bit of sparkle doesn't hurt, does it? One of my favorite ways to wear glitter is on the inner corners of the eyes. I was really in the mood for glitter towards the end of 2009 so I decided to make them wearable with these looks -- Golden Meadow and Cool Earth.

Read on for em'...

Golden Meadow was meant for a tutorial but I messed up the camera angle thus, I only have pictures to show you.

Ee Von: Thanks :) It's not too bad of blush though I don't love it. I'm not a very good influence, am I? hehe. The Magnum review coming up tomorrow. I'm just one picture short

Lovely looks, Connie! You inspired me to use my NYX glitter palettes. Bought them weeks ago but then I got scared the first time I swatched them!

Like Golden Meadow, a little glitter on inner corner always make the eyes 'oomph',also like the color combi (mystic and off the radar). Could you maybe create a look with dark/royal blue please? Because everytime I play with dark blue eyeshadow, just make my eyes look punched, maybe my technik is not right or the color combi is wrong, don't know. Plus sometimes it's not easy for me to blend dark eyeshadow *sigh*

Fifi: Thanks :) When you do use, I'd like to know what you think of the palette. It got me very curious but the fact that it's in a gel consistency makes me worry that the glitter won't stay put and smudge everywhere

Girl with Glasses: Thank you :)

Shilka: Would love to see your version! :D

Fatin: Awh, thanks :)

Chloevien: Mystic is more blue on its own but the Moss Scape brings out the greens. Off the Radar is one of my favorite pigments. I'd love to try a wearable look using dark blue. thanks for the suggestion! Key to working with dark colors is to apply very little to the area where you want the color and blend with a clean brush. That way you won't get too much dark color.

Beautiful looks! Your brows look amazing and light! How did you fill em in? Have you tried maybelline's collosal mascara?

Connie De Alwis said...

Mrs K: Thanks :) I use an eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows. I've recently bleached my eyebrows so they look lighter than usual.
Yep, have reviewed it before too but I've just done a comparison of it with The Magnum.
