Update: New Year + Beauty Blogger Top Picks + Cameron + Skin Deco Featured

It's the new year and I've already started filling in my new planner that the boy bought me. Am I psyched about the new year? Honestly, no. My final exams are only twelve *gulps* days away and I'm nowhere near prepared. Doesn't help that I'm extremely lazy and horrible at math. To make things worse, from January onwards, I no longer have a significant source of income. It sucks to be a part-time aka "disposable" employee.

Before I suck you into my depression, read on for the remaining joy of 2009...


As much as I wanted to do a "Best Of 2009" post, I truly did not have the time/chance to do so. Thus, I didn't hesitate to join in when ParisB was such a dear to compile a Beauty Blogger Top Picks of 2009 list. At the very least you'll know what was my favorite product of the year. My days leading up to the new year was spent in the cool air of Cameron Highlands. I ate and ate and ate... Sorta overdosed on petai. As always, every year's resolution is to lose weight. Let's hope that it finally happens this year?


We smuggled Kismet (mom) and Batman (son) into our rented apartment. So much fun having them with us on the trip!

2009's farewell gift to me was a feature on The Star newspaper two days before Christmas. Big thanks to Nasa for doing such a great job on the article and also Syen for recommending me. While I was scanning through my blog referrals, I came across this article on Tongue in Chic. Karen Wong quite accurately described me and Skin Deco in the article that she wrote for the Beauty Bank feature. Pretty awesome to be featured twice in a month!

2009 treated me well and I can't express in words all that I'm thankful for so hugs all around to every single one of you who have been supporting my blog, my passion and me. 2010 may not be starting well for me but I can assure you that I have many big plans to come. Hang in there with me, k? :)
